³⁶ The reaper is even now receiving his pay;
already he is gathering the crops for eternal life
so that the sower and the reaper can rejoice together.
³⁷ “Thus, the saying holds true,
‘One sows and another reaps.’
³⁸ I sent you to reap
what you had not worked for.
Others have performed the work,
and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”
